Man, I love sniping on wake island with the M98B. The bullet drop and general clumsiness of the sniper rifles make long range sniping a lot more interesting than it was in BF2. So long as you don't start camping for too long, it's also pretty effective in terms of k/d ratios and game scores.
I still can't run and gun up close with bolt action sniper rifle as well as I did in BF2 (or even BC2), but I'm slowly getting there. I started off moaning about it, but now I actually welcome the added challenge.

ok how do i hide the 'battlefield 3 beta' before the recent origin update i did the trick of changing hidden from 0 to 1 in that special file in 'programdata' and that worked fine untill this update and now it won't hide have tryed many times even putting a deplicate line below but nothing works

Add the games you want to appear as Favourites by using the 'i' button and do the deed and then choose Favourites from the Show option in Origin.
Strange. I re-installed the other day and did start downloading the game again but lost patience with it and just copied all files across and it seemed to work. Came up with an 'Install Now' rather than 'Ready To Download' so not sure what exactly it needed to do.
