This game looks amazing im sitting here watching all the videos that i can find on this game. Its for the wii just incase you dont know and is out feb 24 so soon:)
Anyway the dude who produced the game is the same man who done Final Fantasy 2-5 and helped out with other well known jrpgs.
Anyway its an action jrpg game, the combat looks really fun and easy to do you dont have to use the wiimote you can just use the classic controller like you could in xenoblade.
If you havent seen IGNS 3 walkthrough videos yet there worth watching they dont give any spoilers away as its in jap(english commenters talking about it though), but it gives you an idea of the gameplay.

looks good, will be playing this, was going to retire the wii after zelda but will keep it hooked up a while longer now. Thanks

My copy of xenoblade is on its way. But i cant really play it as the wii is in the front room so i cant really get into an rpg game with lots of distractions. But i am getting a wii u which is fully backward compatible so ill have to wait then.
 
Becoming glad i didn't sell my Wii now. Xenoblade Chronicles and Skyward Sword have both been amongst my best games of 2011 (Xenoblade was likely the best game i played last year) and this too looks pretty sweet.


Talk about late coming into its stride though eh.

I wouldn’t have taken you seriously if you have told me at the beginning of 2011 my game of the year would be a JRPG, and that’s with a Zelda game out the same year!

Xenoblade is the main reason i want this game, I need another good JRPG that’s not turn based combat.

Until the OP tho Ive got a media black going on so I dont get spoiled before I get the game :)

Its only the tutorial in jap with english people playing it and making jokes:)
I cant wait to get this, i also got xenoblade which i aint touched yet.
 
Nice, only going for the stand edition which I found for £25. Dont like paying more than that for a Wii game or any game that matter.
 
Amazon realised their mistake and fixed the pricing, no sign that they won't honour the cheaper price though, mine hasn't been cancelled or anything.
 
Aye, no sign of a cancellation, in fact they've sent me an email this morning telling me the item is delayed

"Unfortunately, the release date for the item(s) listed below was changed by the supplier, and we need to provide you with a new estimated delivery date based on the new release date:

"The Last Story Limited Edition (Wii)"
Estimated arrival date: February 27 2012 - February 29 2012"

No sign of intent to cancel the order.
 
Preordered my LE on play.com. Apart from a couple trailers and the 3 part video of the tutorial, its all i know about the game. But i know its gonna be awesome and i cant wait :)
 
I'm hesitant but it does look like the Amazon preorders might be fulfilled. Usually when they amend the price they drop all preorders immediately whereas in this case we all seem to be ok.
