Find out who owns a specific piece of land

Hey guys,

Is there a way to find out who owns a specific piece of land without signing up and paying lots to search the land registry?
The land is in East Lothian - Scotland if that makes a difference lol

Any help is much appreciated :)

Do a search on the land Registry web Site.
It isn't a lot...less than a tenner if I remember.
You can do it by a map search too which is pretty handy.
Edit: £4. Not what I'd call expensive.

need to be very specific....

give me your email address and i will do the search through my company and email the results.
