Bioshock 3 - Infinite

On topic, this game brings nothing new. Vibrant colours, special powers, large enemies - hmmmm haven't we seen this before?

That's pretty rich coming from someone who has a signature declaring their loyalty to a game like BF3, a game that in it's first week sold 4 times as many units on consoles than it did on the PC.

Also, how do you know they were playing on a PC and using a pad and not just playing the Xbox version?

Not to mention BF3 brought nothing new, was stale so fast.

His name is also badboy with alternating capitals

I don't give a frack if they CAN be played with an XBOX controller. If you play an FPS on a PC with anything other than a mouse/keyboard/joystick (for flying) then you should feel ashamed. Consoles are killing PC gaming!

Lol!

Just lol.

Nothing new, the game has completely changed its whole setting, premise and characters, pretty brave. For a franchise these days id say, sounds like your just a hater hating, most trailers these days are filmed from a console, they want to appeal the largest audience which is console users, has absolutely no indication of what the pc title wl be like.

I'm looking forward to this and think it looks great.

Its hardly something to shout from the rooftops if a sequel (or prequel rather) has changed location, characters and story... it looks like the core gameplay is still going to be pretty similar.

That demo showed **** all other than the game looking pretty and the possibility of some immersion into the world.
The combat was ridiculous. There is no way in hell it'll be like that in the final release. There were enemies EVERYWHERE and the guy spent half the time on zero health with god mode looking clueless, then it suddenly jumped into the completely over the top sky-rail bit that just looked like they were trying too hard to make the game look epic.

Oh and 1999 mode I hear them tooting. Two-weapon slot system = Fail at being old-school.

Well here's hoping it doesn't follow the trend that Bioshock 2 set.

Bioshock - Awesome, a classic :) :D :)
Bioshock 2 - WHAT IS THIS ****? (gives up playing after 45 mins)

This will either be redemption or plumbing new depths of absolute turd.

Irrational Games, who made Bioshock, did not make Bioshock 2. Irrational are now back in charge and if Infinite is plop, it will be the first absolute turd they have made. System Shock 2, Bioshock and Freedom Force being personal highlights of theirs.

About the delay. At least they aren't trying to rush it out.

A MESSAGE FROM KEN LEVINE

When we announced the release date of BioShock Infinite in March, we felt pretty good about the timing.

Since then, we’ve come to realize that some specific tweaks and improvements will make Infinite into something even more extraordinary. Therefore, to give our talented team the time they need, we’ve decided to move the game’s release to February 26, 2013. We wanted to let our loyal (and very patient!) fans know this as soon as possible.

I won’t kid you: BioShock Infinite is a very big game, and we’re doing things that no one has ever done in a first-person shooter. We had a similar experience with the original BioShock, which was delayed several months as our original ship date drew near. Why? Because the Big Daddies weren’t the Big Daddies you’ve since come to know and love. Because Andrew Ryan’s golf club didn’t have exactly the right swing. Because Rapture needed one more coat of grimy Art Deco.

The same principle now applies to BioShock Infinite.

What does this mean for you? It means a bit more waiting, but more importantly, it means an even better BioShock Infinite. The great can be made greater, and we owe it to both ourselves and to you, our fans, to take this opportunity. Irrational Games is one of those rare developers lucky enough to ask the people who sign the checks: “Hey, can we have a few more of those checks?”

We are also going to hold off on showing BioShock Infinite at the big events of the summer, like E3 and Gamescom. That way, the next time you see our game, it will be essentially the product we intend to put in the box. Preparing for these events takes time away from development, time we’re going to use instead to get the best version of Infinite into your hands in February.

Shame it's been delayed slightly - but from what you can read, it's for a good reason :) Looks like it's shaping up to be a great game :)

Can't believe this hasn't been posted yet!

Looks sooooooooo ******* good!

I have a funny feeling that this will actually be the first game, which I will properly enjoy in a long time ;) Well since Batman: Arkham city anyway :p
