I need a set of new tyres.

Currently run Continental Contisport Contact 3, and they are rubbish in the wet and acceptable in other conditions.

Ive semi settled on some UniRoyal Rainsport 2's as they come in at £123 IncVat from Camskill. (225/45/18).

Can anyone think of a better tyre for the same money or less?

Gratzi.

I found my CSC3's really fantastic once they were run in (about 1500miles!). You checked your tracking and/or tyre pressure? What car is this for?

You sure you're running CS3s? They's excellent in the wet and even better in the dry. How much tread do you have left?

Rainsports are rubbish compared to CS3s, so I don't really know what to say.
What car are these going on?

The CS3 isnt rubbish in the wet at all - I'd put money on it being better in the wet than the Uniroyals. It is, or was until it was refreshed, a class leading UHP tyre.

Are you sure you dont have about 2mm of tread left or something?

Or perhaps your expecations are a bit..... high? Good in the wet doesnt mean you can drive around in the wet like its dry you know..

I have CS3's on my motor with less than 2.5mm on, Still perform perfectly fine in the wet.

Haven't got any complaints at all about the tyre, nothing but praise for how they perform.

I've ordered some Michelin Pro Sport 3s for a Mazda RX8. Worth the extra money over the Bridgestones I had before? Reckon I got 10000 miles out of the rears last time.

Michelin Pro 3 is a bicycle tyre, so I presume you mean the Pilot Sport 3.
Which is crap, apparently :p
