Bought this in the Steam sale and just got round to playing it. What a gem.
Really well made and just generally enjoyable, and still quite pretty IMO. Any fans?

Never played the original, but really enjoyed playing through Anniversary. Feels like the originals but with the up to date graphics etc.
Got my limited edition box lying around here somewhere![]()
The level in anniversary where its multilevelled and theres lots of puzzles is amazing, a masterpiece in level design.

I really liked Anniversary.
It felt like an updated original but had enough new and interesting content of it's own to stay fresh while feeling nostalgic.
One of the best Tomb Raider titles IMO![]()
From what I remember the speed of it depends on the direction in which you dive. Try diving in different directions, that's if you haven't already finished it by nowI've been playing this on and off since it's launch and decided to complete the latter levels of late. However, I'm stuck on the final boss which is a shame as i don't think I'm going to complete the game.
I can manoeuvre around no problem, avoiding fireballs and enraging Natla as I should. As soon as she charges at me I hit the adrenaline dodge combination. Again no problems there. The the two white targeting reticules appear as they should but never meet or go red which is annoying because the dodge can only be successful if this occurs.. The law of averages would say i would at least once.
However, I tried this on an Xbox controller and after the first adrenaline dodge the reticules turned red no problems and i got a shot in. Problem is i struggle with the combat on the controller.
I'm beginning to think this a bug in the game when using keyboard/mouse combo
Here is a good guide for the section in a spoiler tag so you can see what I'm on about.
NATLA - PHASE TWO: Even though she can no longer fly, Natla is still a fearsome adversary. She begins by standing near one of the side walls and pelting Lara with a barrage of fireballs. These fan out in groups of three from where Natla is standing. So, for the most part, you can dodge them by jumping from side to side while facing her. Or, stand in one spot and wait for her to launch all three fireballs and then quickly jump out of the way. After unleashing several rounds of fireballs, she'll zip across to one of the adjacent walls and start the process again. Turn to face her and continue dodging.
As you do this, fire at her constantly. If you use SMGs, you'll do a lot of damage quickly. This isn't necessary, however. You can beat her with just pistols.
Watch Natla's health and rage bars at the top right corner of the screen. When the rage bar maxes out, both bars will glow red, she'll let out a shriek (which is visible as stylized sound waves emanating from her head) and charge at Lara.
Now you must perform the old adrenaline dodge (as shown in the video as well as this series of screenshots). The technique is similar to the way you fought the previous bosses:
Once Natla is enraged, stop shooting but keep a target lock on her, either by setting the combat mode to Advanced Toggle or by holding down the Target Lock button (right mouse button or G on the PC, L1 on the PS2).
Make sure Lara has room to maneuver in the direction you plan to roll. If Lara hits a wall or column, or if Natla is able to slash Lara with one of her wings, Lara will be knocked off her feet, and the dodge won't work.
As Natla charges, stand still. Then, when the screen blurs and the action shifts into slow motion, continue to maintain a target lock, start moving toward or away from her and then press Crouch (or shake the Wii nunchuk).
If your dodge is successful, Lara will leap over Natla or away from her (depending on whether you dodge forward or backward) and you'll see two separate targeting reticules converge on her. If the camera doesn't automatically track Natla, move the mouse or right stick so you can see better. When the reticules overlap, immediately shoot. (In the Wii game, you'll only see one red reticule. Aim inside this target with the remote and then fire.)
If your shot connects, Natla will be momentarily stunned, and she'll slump over, revealing the green spot on her back. Shoot the glowing green spot until Natla recovers. This is the only way to injure her.
For most enemies, moving to the left or right works best for the adrenaline dodge, but this is not true with Natla. If you try to dodge sideways, she will nearly always swat Lara with one of her wings. Instead, be sure to roll backwards away from her or roll forward. When you do the forward roll, Lara will actually leap over Natla, even though you're pressing Crouch. In both cases, Natla turns her back toward Lara as the targeting reticules converge, so you should be able to shoot her from behind. Then, if you succeed in stunning her, Lara ends up facing Natla's exposed back, so she's able to fire at the green spot immediately.
Once she becomes enraged, Natla stays that way for a while. (Her health bar remains red.) So if you don't manage the adrenaline dodge the first time, she'll charge at Lara again and again, giving you a few more chances. If you don't succeed before her rage bar subsides, Natla's health bar will turn yellow once more, and she'll return to one side of the room and begin the fireball attacks again.
Repeat the process—shoot at her while dodging the fireballs until she becomes enraged, wait for her charge, do the adrenaline doge, shoot to stun, then shoot her in the green glowing area on her back—until Natla's health is reduced to zero.
