I am in the market for some super thick, super soft and chunky joggers (which are too heavy to be used as joggers, really) for use as lounge pants.

The kind made by the likes of Jake Wills, A&F... but without the OTT branding.

Have you encountered any great independent brands for the above?

Have you tried Next, M&S, Debenhams, John Lewis etc? I got some really comfy ones from Debenhams for about £15.

I got some really thick Nike ones I wear for slopping around in around the house during winter. IIRC they were no more than about £20 from TK Max :D

Mmm not sure which ones you bought from there , but I bought some blue ones with yellow stripes down the side , one wash and they have all gone bobbly

Dark blue with 2 yellow strips. They came with orange stripes aswell.

Odd, i was one of my pairs pretty often because i wear them to the gym and they are fine.

Primark ones are surprisingly alright. I've got some navy ones I've had for like 3 years that are still good. Can't argue for a tenner.

Just buy a size higher to factor in the shrinkage.

I bought 3 pairs of Umbro joggers from Sports Direct when they were £3 a pair.
Sure they went bobbly after a few washes but for something to knock about the house in they're ideal.

I have a pair of Nike and Addidas ones for the gym.

Don't know why you care what they look like if there just to lounge in. Be buying more to lounge in comfiest things ever.

I bought a pair from H&M a few years ago... pretty much the same as the A&F and Jack Wills ones I've also got.

SoulCal ones from Republic are definitely the best choice for this!

This.
I got the old style ones when they'd just released the new ones for something like £5-10 a pair.
I got some blue ones and some grey ones - perfect for a quiet day at home when its cold, or a nice morning jog!

Thanks for the suggestions everyone!

Because I don't like wearing anything too audacious, regardless of who else will see it (and other people will!)
