BenQ XL2420T Now available

Hmm just realized I won't be able to have both my hazro and the benQ hooked up on my single 6970 as they both use dual link dvi. :/

can someone please find a static object in a FPS game such as TF2 or CSS, make sure AMA is on in the OSD, sidestep it without touching the mouse, and tell me if you see inverse ghosting? The XL2410T AMA feature produced horrific inverse color trails (brown trails behind yellow etc).

Thanks

Does it? I thought there were limitations through displayport.

How else would this guy http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18331050 run his setup?

He uses AMD cards. On AMD cards, all displays have to be connected to the same card, even in like, quad Crossfire. With an AMD card with 6 Mini-DP connectors, you can connect 6 120Hz screens.

Edit: he even has 5 120Hz screens now. http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showpost.php?p=21082131&postcount=66

I know it can be run but what I didn't know is that you could run things like 1600p monitors and true 120hz monitors efficiently through it. I've never had the need to use a displayport cable before.

Well, apparently you can... I've never used it before either. Got my BenQ connected through Dual-Link DVI.

Just set it up. WOW. 120 hz is absolutely amazing. It's so damn smooth. Just had a blast on BF3, I cannot belive it.

Just one thing tho!

1 dead pixel.

Shall I return under DSR?

Depends on where it is really. Center = return, but that's just my opinion. I can also accept it easier if its on the right side of the screen, most text and websites are anchored to the left side of the screen, same for the menus and start menu.

Nice to hear that you like it though. 120Hz is absolutely not a gimmick.

No mate I didn't. How do I go about sending it back under DSR?

They probably won't take it back with only 1 dead pixel but you can return it for any reason within 7 days of delivery with DSR. So just ring them up and organise a collection or something. But you will have to pay for the return postage yourself most likely.

Ok, cheers for that mate.

A bit annoying really. The monitor is wonderful, that's coming from a HP LP2475w.

There is absolutely no screen tear in games, I cannot belive it. So smooth.

I turned up the Digital Vibrance in the Nvidia control panel from the default 50% to 60%. Colours are very vivid now. I don't know the difference with my old Dell PVA anymore.

This is combined with the settings in Standard Mode that I've mentioned earlier.
