Just wondering if Intel have any chips planned to be released this year and if so where can i read about them?

Currently looking at upgrading from a I7 920 @ 4.2ghz.

Thanks.

With the Ivy Bridge they come with graphics on board, is there a way to disable this? And does it effect performance?

I haven't done any CPU research since i purchased this i7, which is just a CPU.

To be honest, that is still a damn good CPU you have there. Don't think the forthcoming Ivy bridge chips will be massively better than what you have.

Well i need to upgrade my graphics card this year at some point and i dont want the CPU to bottleneck my new graphics card.

Thanks.

It will automatically be disabled if you're running a discrete GPU or have a motherboard which doesn't support the onboard GPU. It will not affect performance.

Which GPU/s are you planning to run? As that will dictate whether the i7 920 will be a bottleneck.

Does anyone know how Ivy Bridges 3 monitor support will work? Will you be able to configure one large viewing screen, will monitors support 3 x digital output.
