I had the same dilema. I ended up going with the Asrock due to the easy overclocking. Really impressed and no problems so far

This was after buying the Gigabyte Z68AP first and it breaking within 24hrs! Took it back to overclockers for testing and they gave me a refund.

Go for the Asus, far better quality board than the ASrock. People seem to favour the ASrock due to how good it looks in their case window though.

Very happy with my Asus Z68/V GEN3,however if you want to make the decision easy stick to the budget you have and look at features you need then make a decision,one of the reasons I went with Asus is excellent UEFI BIOS and Intel Nic,excellent overclocker

Btw all Z68 boards are easy to overclock if you got Intel 1155 K type cpu,just a case of increasing the multipier in BIOS that simple,don't need software to do that ,but if you do need software OC program you can with Asus,Gigabyte,MSI etc... since they all have that so not an issue.
