Budget build, opinions and views

That looks great, i prefer the vantage case tbh :) Is the Asus board in my first post as good as that Gigabyte one?
is it worth going for the Asus? i think it has more PCI slots etc...

Up to you, they are both decent boards. depends what features you want/will use really.

I am guessing the cheaper PSU will be fine :D

Yeah, that PSU gets decent reviews and will run that system fine.

Thanks for the help, i might adjust the list to the Asus board and a WD HDD and i reckon that will be it! :D What do you think?

I'd get this HDD instead:

I think its marginally faster, but they are all very similar.

Awesome, that HDD is on my list :D

Sounds good about the PSU :) and the Motherboard :D

Is the onboard sound alright? its Realtek i believe :)

Are there any cheaper Wireless Cards available that will be ok?

There is a coolermaster 500W supply for £50 and that is modular. Better than what you were originally thinking.

Onboard sound will be fine. I cant lie I use an old PCI creative audigy 2 soundcard as it sounds better than my 7.1 onboard audio. That said i already had it and certainly wouldnt have bought one to replace the onboard audio.

Yeah onboard sound will be sufficient :)

(Just a side note, I think your signature is too big. check here:

best to change it before a mod removes it :))

Ok, i will remove one of the bullet points :)

That's the one yes. If you do, you could get a Coolermaster case and make the most of this deal!

I'd also recommend you to pick up an i3 2125, even though the Intel GPU isn't amazing it's only £10 more for twice the GPU power should you need it. (Quicksync?)

Thats it so far, getting more and more expensive! Anything i can get cheaper? Wireless card seems expensive :/ Are the TP-Link ones good? Any other ones that are cheaper but will work? Still, its only encase i don't go for wired, well, if i can't :)

Also, is it worth going for Lightscribe DVD drive, its a nice touch but is it worth it?

I've been using my TP-Link Wireless card and Wireless router for a year now, no problems here.

Lightscribe are not worth it in my opinion, unless you want to print out dull black and white covers on the disc. Personally I would stick with a standard DVD drive.

Looks good to me. as above, I'd just get the cheapest DVD drive myself.

I will look at some TP-link cards, thanks

I have found a ocuk DVD drive for 15quid not the best but it has fairly good reviews and it's only there if I need it :)
