And as the title suggests they are due to arrive soon around lunchtime in a great big box!! :DD

I did have one little query though well I am here, I hear a lot about the Asus 7970 and its "amazing" bios, is this because it can go all the way up to 1200 mhz and beyond, or can my stock xfx card also get that high using Msi afterburner for example, and would I have to flash the bios to get it past the 1125 limit in catalyst?

Oh and who wins today in the FA cup, Man U or Liverpool :O ? Im calling Man U 3-1.

Damn, I'd be Buzzing my **** off if I was sat waiting for those to drop on my door step, Enjoy.

FA Cup Who cares I'm just glad it's on terrestrial. :)

Aww waiting eagerly for some pics..nice one..;)

I will put some pics up soon as I have it all set up, the box has arrived, and its HUUGE, I will need to take old monitor clean it, put it into its original box for flogging on the bay, along with my 2 x gtx 470s. When I do get it all up and running, Ill post pics, infact ill take the gear out and take a pic now, brb 10 mins or so!!

Ghosting in general, or just using the 3D software when viewing 3D content, because I intend to use it only for 2D 120 HZ gaming.

Ghosting only happens with the 3D on

Otherwise it is amazing for gaming!

The 3D is the best feature though.

I have the same graphics card and afterburner will take it above ccc limits although i found 1200 unstable, and man u to beat the scouse gits

Here is the pic of the stuff taken out of the BIG box!!

The Asus "amazing bios" is a bit of a non starter. All of the current HD7970's are reference design (even the XFX DD model uses a reference PCB). This basically means with Afterburner they all have the same chances of overclocking (or not).

My Powercolor is pushing 1150/6600, there would have been no guarantee that an Asus card would have been able to clock faster.

Btw can the 7970 be overvolted yet? I recall reading in the latest Custom PC mag that MSI's advert for their 7970 3GB is the only one/first one that allow voltage tweaking or something.

I'm a bit behind with graphics cards. I assume GTX470>7970 is a big step? I keep wondering if I need to replace my GTX295 cos I'm running 2560x1440 and starting to drop to 20fps everyone now and then in somethings.

That screen looks amazingly thin.

It is! Make sure you don't break it taking it out of the box OP:p

I thought I would! It looks so fragile!!!!!

Enjoy the screen.

I have a similar panel and its EPIC.

120Hz gaming rocks!

I haven't actually noticed a difference with 120hz :(
