Patch notes are a joke, why that couldn't wait till the scheduled maintainance instead of a Saturday morning escapes me.
Website says up, launcher says down...

Take what people say on this forum with a pinch of salt. The vast majority of comments are negative because the people enjoying the game are generally playing it and not whining on the forum.
But in the end, you can't go wrong for £30, its very enjoyable.
Yup its a great game, the whiners will always whine, don't see why they don't keep all there whining on the swtor forums, doing it here accomplishes nothing!
The patching doesn't bother me in the slightest, it has to happen and the most cost effective and efficient method of doing it is simply to blitz it at once. If the EU and US were patches separately we'd have US players swarming EU servers when their servers were down anyway.
chances are it's all on VM farms anyway, so downing them all at the same time is a doddle and gets it over with faster than splitting it into two sets.
It'll never be convenient for everyone, don't like it go elsewhere - little point getting upset about it.
So the EA forums were compromised early this morning and then Bioware patch the servers with no/little warning? The SWTOR forums were then put into read only mode, is that too much of a coincidence?
Yup its a great game, the whiners will always whine, don't see why a) they bother to play b) they don't keep all there whining on the swtor forums, doing it here accomplishes nothing!
