It would look bad and i dont think EA wants a perception of the game failing

i have got 4 days left dont think ill be subbing for another month but it is something that ill be coming back to in a few months just got into battlefield 3 and TF2 and also waiting for kingdoms of amalur and mass effect 3

EA are putting decent things out
 
So, what do you think is the best story line to try?

Smuggler, Jedi Knight and bounty hunter are ok but I don't find them really making me want to play

Smuggler and Bounty Hunter are okay but the best stories are on the other side, try a Sith Warrior or Imperial Agent as they are far more entralling (and eviiiil if you so choose)

It really depends on how you like to play and develop your character so I'd give a few a go and make up your own mind.

I found Jedi Knight story amazing.

I'n hoping this will go F2P one day or at least allow people to play class stories only for free or something so I can finish the story, not subbing just for the story though.
 
Anyone know a decent swtor website/forum that wouldn't be categorised under "games".

Nightshift.....the EA site is blocked. Looking for something to read.

I enjoyed the Trooper storyline. Might be worth a look if your not set on bashing things with a glowing sword.

Have to say I'm having an absolute blast. Been a long time since I enjoyed myself this much in a game. True I'm only level 10 on both a Jedi Knight/Sith warrior but damn, the 10 odd hours I've played so far just shot past (5 this morning / 5 last night).

Will it last all the way through? Who knows! Hell do I care? Nope. Can see this being well worth the money just for the class story lines at the moment.

Haters going to hate regardless, although why people continue to post when they have quit / unsubbed is beyond me. I've been through more MMO's than I care to remember.....never felt the need to post once I'd quit though. Guess thats the difference between old gamer like myself and the kids today!

I've been playing this for nearly a month now and the initial 'ooh, shiny!' has worn off and I've moved from 3 monthly to one monthly. it's just not grabbing me. it feels too much like WoW (which is a shame, but I can understand why they've done it) and i was never a fan of that. it also feels like a single player game with little bits of 'team required' here and there which then quickly disband once said task has been completed. We'll see once I give a force based character a go but not feeling it ATM.

Loving the new guild I am in, far more active - did my first Operation tonight, Karagga's Palace - was great fun, the droid boss took about 4/5 attempts and Karagga himself we did 2nd time! :)

Want to try EV next :)
 
been playing this for a month now and im enjoying it so far (35 sith sorc) i aint rushing through lvling though :)

i have found a few problems with the game like it freezing and major fps drops but still getting into it a lot! got me off wow for a bit anyway :P

Exactly the same. I'm level 29 and I am taking my time taking in the game.
Sometimes I get bored. Put it down, but then a few days later I find I need to get my SWTOR fix and carry straight on.

I thought the agent story was really good too (up to level 15 at the mo). I like the whole 'cleaning up the sith's messes, while we bide our time' kind of feel to it.

Just completed my agent story a couple of hours ago. Whatever I play next, if anything, has a hell of a lot to live up to!

It was pure badassery from the start. It's like 24, James Bond and Spooks all rolled into one. Absolutely fabulous experience.

I loved the ending, too :)
 
Sith warrior story is pretty epic - great ending.

Trooper story so far, is a bit ... meh..., the bounty hunter one is ... ok..., might do the Jedi Knight next once I've finished my trooper.
 
Playing a sith warrior at the moment (40) and loving the story so far. My only problem is a have done all the quests given so far but have not done any heroics. I did try one last night and the people in my group started moaning and i got a bit fed up and quit. Im a mmo noob and i would like to try some but i dont want to balls it up for the other people in the group. Is there any abilities as i sith warrior annihilation i should not press as i pretty much spam all the buttons when in battle.
 
Yeah, trooper is a bit flag-wavey, god bless the republic sort of thing. Bit disappointed in what I've seen of the smuggler so far too. I'd be enjoying the jedi knight one a bit more if my sentinel wasn't so squishy :p
