Looking to upgrade from 1900xt which is starting to show artefacting. Am thinking EVGA 460? Any help muchos appreciated. :]

What's the rest of your system? What's your budget? At what resolution do you game?

Q6600 at 3.6, 4GB Ram, got a 1920x1200 monitor and 1080p TV which is what Ill play on if I can get away with using a controller. Budget in subject.

Is it simple enough to unload ATi drivers and install nvidia drivers or am I gona have to do something special?

Right I overlooked the budget somehow lol.

Anyway screw the 460, grab the 560. Same card higher default clocks....only around a tenner more expensive than your budget.

yes it's that simple. Just uninstall in windows, don't use a stupid 3rd party sweeper tool.

I saw that and thought it read, just uninstall windows . Anyway, the 460 is a decent card at that price. You should also have access to MM, so stick up a wanted thread :)

If you were looking to buy a brand new card and you weren't able to wait for the upcoming midrange 78xx from AMD, a 6870 is probably the best you'll get for £120. But a second hand GTX 470 for £85 sounds pretty good!

Checked out the 470 but it has 2 pci-e connectors, ideally would like something with just one like my old card. Have a good enough PSU and such but have another comp which is on 24/7 pretty much. Think Ill stretch a bit and get the MSI 560 at 130ish.
