One dead pixel on new monitor...

If it was me I'd DSR it. Couldn't live with one single dead or stuck pixel, not when spending that much on a monitor

I guess I should add the fact, so far I never notice it in gaming, images move too fast, and the black dead pixel just blends in to games in general, but I cant read a webpage or any bright backround without looking straight at it.....

Just out of curiosity, do I still have my full DSR rights according to the law, even when the item is a monitor? , what I mean is, I had to remove all the crappy plastic that is stuck to the monitor etc etc, all the packaging is tip top and perfect, including the boc etc. Am I actually still entitled to return a monitor under DSR?

Yes, as long as it has no damage and is returned with everything it came with.

Any ideas or advice on the best service to use to send the large box back?, I took a look at the DPD website, but they seem to be for small and large business only, whats the cheapest and easiest and most reliable service for the average joe like me?

interparcel? parcel monkey?

Check their insurance tho.
Some declined to insure monitors against damage.
Parcel force will tho :)

also in your ticket ensure they understand your returning under DSR and not due to a dead pixel

I also had to return the same monitor because of a dead pixel, I hate returning expensive stuff and hoping for a refund or replacement.

Have another one to be delivered tomorrow, bloody dam hope that it is a good one! Boils my pee that such an expensive monitor has it seems a high percentage chance of having dead pixels. If I do get another dud it's going straight back and samsung are not getting a dime more out of me.

My advise return it because it is unacceptable.

The Samsung TV I bought recently had two dead pixels and a dead sub-pixel. It went straight back. Maybe Samsung have a problem with dead pixels...
