Hi guys, I'm sorry to keep doing this but I just want to make sure I get this right as it's not often I make a purchase for such a large amount of money!

Okay so first of all my budget has been increased to between £3,000.00 & £,3,500.00.

I need everything, system, monitor, operating system and anti-virus, speakers, mouse, keyboard...

I suspect I will be doing a lot more gaming than I really should and predominantly play first person shooters and strategy games, so I need a system that is capable of gaming but I will also be doing a lot of college work and university work in about a year, lots of HTML, photoshop, coding etc

Only other thing is I'd prefer atleast a 27" monitor, along the lines of the Dell ultrasharps...

Heres a starting point, everything in, incl water cooling, use something like AVG for anti virus, I find its fine, also incl windows pro so you can address more than 16gig memory (Ram + gfx is more than 16 so) mouse is upto you, threw that one in there, its very good, the kb is excellent, Im using the MK80, speakers, you could go for 5.1 as opposed to 2.1, but imo quality 2.1 is better

Here's another suggestion/starting point.
Xfire 7970s. This would leave you with £700 for a monitor and speakers. Could upgrade to a 356GB SSD if you wanted. Also the 80+ PLATINUM XFX 100w PSU that ensures 92% efficiency, if you needed it to be cheaper could always go with a Corsair/OCZ Gold one.

I had a 22inch Dell ultra sharp with my last rig and loved it! Just like the look of that Samsung

I'll stick with the Dell's the unless you can recommend a decent alternative?

Please see here for some of the differences between TN and IPS panels.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWXcNlh85Ps

The video does not really explain it completely, such as IPS being able to show a wider range of colours than a TN panel.

It is also not the brand that matters, it really is the panel type and processing etc. Dell make some nice screens and they also make some not so nice cheap screens, so please make sure you know what you are buying :)

That's why I'm bugging you guys.... There is no resource more valuable than experience in my opinion.
