do you miss any particular games?

I miss the PS1 gaming days. It pretty much had everything that did not belong to Nintendo - Not like now where the PS3 and the 360 are technically very close.
Crash Bandicoot, Resident Evil, Gran Turismo, GTA, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy, Silent Hill etc. (I realise RE was the 64 too).
The console had very large storage space as the format was CD not cartridge.
Also, single player actually mattered. I love Battlefield but with 99% of games I don't even try the online mode of it.

Aside from the PS1 having so many decent console titles, the PC was where the hardcore gaming was at. Better graphics, better loading times and cheaper games. I remember seeing Tomb Raider 2 on a P2 266mhz PC and thinking it looked much better than the PS1 version!

For me, I miss the type of game rather than certain titles in particular. For example I love the PS1 Final Fantasy games, but you couldn't release these type of games now. The same goes for the older Resident Evil games.

Command and Conquer :'( Its in my desk draw but I cant be bothered to get it out lol, what I mean is I'm waiting for a new sequel like generals 3 or a sequel to the tiberium franchise, its just dead now.

I often play 'The first decade' - namely C&C: Covert Operations and C&C Red Alert: Aftermath skirmish mode. I would love these re-released at £10 each - Exactly the same game but up the textures, add HD resolutions and tart the AI up a touch.
I don't even like the modern C&C games!

Turok 2. Never did complete it, might yet though. Ever the optimist. :)

Cant be completed without cheats lol :D
The Cerebral Bore was amazing & i'm surprised it hasn't shown its head in other games.

I'd say I miss Shadowman the most.
I think it's because the story IMO was epic along with the gameplay. I also managed to complete it 100% finding all the souls without a guide :D

The delta force series were pretty good as well. Particularly df2. I also enjoyed joint ops a lot as well.

Games that I miss well the list is frankly huge and mostly from my Amiga days:

Flashback.
Indy Heat.
Darkmere.
E.L.I.T.E.
Frontier.
Pinball Dreams/Fantasies/Illusions.
Supercars 2.
Skidmarks.
Mortal Kombat 1 & 2.
Civilization.
Desert/Jungle/Urban Strike.

That's just the ones I can think of straight away! *sigh* I miss the good old days.

Stoner81.
