I also would not pay over £20+ for Silent Hill 2 in this day and age :) More like a fiver just like this game is worth for it's age.

Get over it Remedy are a small company that got offered a lot of money to put it on the 360 first. Hell that may have gave Remedy the breathing space to carry on making games in the future & not end up like other small companies either disbanded or on the verge of going bust.

This is spot on, dont let the politics behind it screw yer opinion on the game. its all a business. If i let petty politics get in the way of my business i would be bankrupt!!!

You do that because it was never ever going to be much less & your loss BTW because watching some 540P vsync disabled gameplay on Youtube is not the same as playing 1080P with max eye candy.

£20 for a new release (even if its an older 360 game) isn't hardly breaking the bank now is it?

For £20 considering I missed out first time around as I sold my 360 - well I might just take a punt if it doesn't stink, as in its got such poor performance (LA Niore I'm looking at you) and the game is glitched and hardly runs well, then even if it just gives you the same as a 360 just v sync enabled and 1080p res then - well hardly expensive..

did anyone expect this to be released for a tenner??
 
I am not trolling like I was in the HL3 thread, but I do think that is a little expensive, I really did think this would be on the tenner mark. Someone said above £20 is fine for a new game, which I agree but this is far from a new game. I suppose even £15 would have been OK. I will buy it but only in a sale at the £5 mark just to see how it looks/runs. But anyway glad all you AW fans will get what you were after, finally.

Well they are a business that needs to run and they'll need to break even to pay wages etc then profit if they want to make more games. :p

And so what if you can find the xbox version in a bargain bin somewhere?
