My 2 cents....

1) Crysis (with mods still the most visually impressive experience on the pc imo)
2) Just Cause 2 (yes to render such a large area in such graphical paradise ready for you to blow up)
2) 2 Worlds 2 (small RPG title with absolutely stunning graphics and decent gameplay not Skyrim good but still good)
4) Metro 2033 (deep dark atmosphere with stunning visuals)
5) Far Cry 2 (I know I get flamed for this but I really like the visuals and graphic clarity of far cry 2 shame for the gameplay)

whats your top 5 and why?

The Witcher 2: Anybody who has seen any screenshots of this will agree. Hopefully it will only get better with the new cutscenes and optimisations they are making to go along with the Xbox360 version.

Trine 2: The first one was great. This is spectacular.

Rage: Good tech demo (essentially), some impressive stuff going on behind the scenes.
Doom 4 will be draw dropping at a guess.

Bulletstorm: Superb use of Unreal 3.5, and a great break away from dark, murky greens and greys. Shooting was fun too.

Dirt 3: Fan of racing games and this is quite spectacular.

Honourable mentions to a modded skyrim, DE:HR, F1 2011. I also think Hard Reset might move into contention with the extended edition DLC as they have reworked the engine.

For me,
1) BF3
2) a modded Crysis - shame the game sucks big time.
3) The witcher 2 - i do not own the game yet as i am waiting for the enhanced edition in april, but i have seen it running and it is beautiful.
4) Arma II
5) FIFA 12 - they have done some amazing work with the modelling which is why its on

Not many games impress me visually any more.

RAGE for all its faults is quite impressive in how rich the overall game world is detailed.

Eve online has had an update with some very impressive scenery around some systems.

I also think that Test Drive Unlimited 2 has some great level of detail with some really well done scenery.

Battlefield 3 by far. It's unreal.

It looks quite realistic to me.:p

Crysis
BF3
Skyrim
Witcher 2
Stalker games with complete mod.

Far Cry 2 is also a very good looker, the Assassin's Creed games look fantastic too imo. Haven't played Metro yet, but I'm sure it will make the list once I've played some.

Honourable mention must go to 'Hitman Blood Money' which in some sections has the most npc's on screen I've ever seen in a game, whilst retaining high framerate with detailed/attractive looking environments.

I have no idea why anyone would not choose battlefield 3, in my opinion it is on another level to nearly all games.

I have seen some nice Skyrim modded visuals, and I also loved the Witcher 2 graphics.

I think car games seem to always have good graphics, so it may be wrong but they never impress me anymore.

Battlefield 3 really? i would say its pretty good but nothing special. It doesnt look much better than bad company 2. Then again im playing everything on high and not ultra maybe theres a huge difference.

My 3 i cant think of 5 my brain has frozen:p:
Trine 2
Skyrim modded
Shogun 2 total war with darthmod

Sadly not, not much difference between High and Ultra at all. When playing you won't notice anything, you will notice a few shadows if you stand still and watch the screen :)

Mine are

1) Rage, it looks fantastic
2) Witcher 2
3) Skyrim

1) BF3
2) The Witcher 2
3) Trine 2
4) Need for Speed Shift 2
5) Sonic Generations <-- This really surprised me, very colourful and reminded me of my youth :)

The ones I own:

1) The Witcher 2
2) Trine 2
3) Just Cause 2
4) Skyrim with lots of mods

Can't think of any others I've seen that really impress me.

Off the top of my head and in no order :

Trine - both of these games are simply so pretty and colourful.
Trine 2
Metro 2033 - best graphics I've seen so far.
Stalker - when modded though imo CS vanilla looks pretty good. Best lighting implemented in any games I've yet seen.
Rage - all in all, quite impressive to say the least. Some textures are non existent, some on the other hand...;)

The usual suspects of Metro, BF3 and Crysis and I only play on high with a few ultra settings thrown in.

A game which really impressed me visually is Wings of Prey. The terrain is very detailed with virtually zero pop-in or buffering. The aircraft all self shadow and even self reflect too, it's a beautiful looking game.
