Late night people

Alright thanks for that :)

So much for going to sleep......might as well get up now and go for a run before cobbling together some scran......

Just before it starts to get light is my favourite time to go running or walking. Not this time though, I'm off to bed!

Good night

I'm about to go to sleep, but I don't feel tired :(
Can you remove that image from my thread - please 2bit

She's nice and everything but I didn't ask for it.

While that pic is still up, does anyone know the significance of the blue star tattoo on her wrist?

I've seen it on a few girls now and I'm sure it means something I'm not awake of :o

was having a nice sleep - woken up by ungodly loud firealarm. go to investigate - other folk cant figure it out. there is a sort of burning smell... alarm light is on room number 2. we check with room resident - nope no fire she says.

I notice that the heating has just come on (timed at 7) i'm also told that they were working on the wiring in one of the rooms downstairs and the fire alarm would occasionally be set off. Something tells me the two are related...dno.

anyway we just silenced the alarms went back to bed. :D ohh and i found a half eaten bag of marshallows so im all set if this turns into Towering Inferno

Doing 12 hour shifts is better in some ways - I get a mixture of weekends (socialising) and weekdays off (shopping is infinitely more bearable on a weekday) so best of both worlds, as well as 4-6 days off between shift sets (bar the one where I do 3 days then 3 nights straight after) so there's no need to cram everything into two days when the rest of the world is doing the same. Compare that to dealing with a commute 5 days a week and still not having a lot of free time in the evenings, and only 2 days off... I think the 9-5, Mon-Fri thing is a bit archaic and I believe there are studies showing it's not a particularly good pattern for productivity.

Just me, Clubland TV and the coffee machine... roll on 8am.

Not slept in 3 days and still awake. Way too much going on at the moment! People just want to keep me stressed it seems lol.

I think having set hours is a draw back in many ways,ok its hard doing around the clock shifts, but it works out ok if you can handle the body clock changes.

Thanks a lot guys! It's for an internship with Microsoft, I'm up in Newcastle and flying down to southampton then on to reading, would have got the train but it was basically the same price as a flight.

Currently sitting in the airport though as my flight has been delayed by nearly 5 hours  it also means that the earliest I could get there would be 2 hours late, I've let Microsoft know and theyre getting back to me if its possible to move interviews about.

Fingers crossed!
