We’ve received found some pools of water on our utility room floor and after weeks of confusion as nothing ever seemed to be wet we think we’ve narrowed it down to the water collecting thing in the tumble dryer as it looks to have a very small crack in it.

After pricing up that a replacement would around £60 I figured I’d have a go at fixing ours first. There seem to be plenty of epoxies or sealants available but doesn’t anyone have any recommendations to try out?

if you have a soldering iron just heat up the crack and melt it together? or maybe you could try a swimming pool repair kit

pvc cement might be the best option

Silicone bathroom sealer? Reason I suggested this is it will allow for a flexible seal, will allow a bit of flex in the join.
