450W PSU, cheap but reliable option??

Welcome to the forums. The above is a decent PSU for the price. You say you need 450W, so I guess you're not running anything too powerful?

EDIT: 95thrifles sums it up well :)
 
Have to say the Elite500 isnt in the same league as any of those.

The XFX and that OCZ are the best in that list.

Nope, hence the preferential order

Id still take the elite over the GX though, Ive seen some awful reviews on the GX, some good too but some awful, one of top 3 would be preferred choice really, should have made that clear I guess

The GX450W isnt made by the same people as the other models,

Some are Enhance Electronics, others are Seventeam.


The Elite 500 hasnt even got basic things like Active PFC
