Hi as title really.

Sometimes I go and attempt to sort peoples computers out. Is there any free software out there that you can install that will tell you what components are in the computer.

Motherboard, cpu, memory, etc etc

Is everest the best for this??

Thanks

Both of the above are good, Speecy does show a lot more info however. CPUZ will give you realtime CPU and GPU info - can come in handy whilst diagnosing faults or just generally being nosey :)

I've noticed with most software that if the driver isn't installed then the program has no idea what the machines spec is.
