Sapphire HD7970 Tri fire problems. Lock ups in games.

And in both games the same fix is required.

You need to manually delete the config file and let it start again.

When I went from single screen to surround I had the same issues. Basically the game was trying to load the settings I had seen before.

First port of call on those games is to delete the config files. IIRC they are in My Docs My games and are XML files.

Now that you can afford 3 7970's and 3 580's Ian, then perhaps you can afford to compensate or reimburse the people that you ripped off with sub standard and dangerous Single Stage phase units a few years ago ?
It may have "slipped" your mind, but it hasn't been forgotten by the phase building community.
