Was on my mat this evening coming home, promptly got it installed, only to have spent the past 2 hours downloading a 4GB update. The joys of TalkTalk, really really need a faster supplier :o

Played a few rounds after a month of being inactive - has anyone else noticed a lowering of fps recently?

It makes no difference even if I set everything to Low. 100% gpu usage and still 30ish fps :(

Previously I was happily playing on High with 50 fps~. NO change to my setup at all in the meantime...
 
Ever since the update tonight i'm having trouble on some servers whereby when my flares are ready but I can't fire them!. I know the key is X and I know for a damn fact they've worked before without fault, but twice tonight after being locked on. I press X and nothing happens, yet my flares are ready. Most of the time it was working but others not so :(
 
Funny the difference on servers regarding reg issues. Played just now on smogsys, full mag to put someone down, Dg iirc on hilltop. Same weapon, (m27 lar) on a previous match, same sort of range. 4 or 5 shots done the trick.

They all use 1 cheat or another, remember playing against paranoia in the first round of a clanbase bfbc2 vietnam launch competition and one player called Matt Ward hacked all the way through to the final and it wasn't until they made him use Wire anticheat in the final match his team lost

Where theres money theres always going to be cheaters

These ferkers need to be banned from all competitions

LOL i thought that server was laggy as hell :p

on one instance i sat about 50 yards from some one cross hair on them and steady fired to dead aim shots wernt even close :confused:

did get quite a few from tower though :D had helis up there after me :)

There's been a national issue tonight at linx. We were all having mad issues until Justin at kc twiddled some knobs and routed things differently.

Was a bit laggy, i did manage to get you and ludix at one point on hilltop, (another full mag job). Spent the rest of the round attacking antenna, alternating between tanks and choppers. My chopper skills are still a bit dire though tbh. Chopper controls in bf games are rubbish compared to joint ops, which is the only other fps in which ive flew heli's.
 
lol at ea saying they fixed the exploit they havent even done a update for it :p

they are such ass clowns. if another wave of spoof bans happens now its gunna be fireworks. just bluffing hoping no one will notice :rolleyes:
 
Np, you do know that repair tool kill on teammates doesnt go towards your assignments lol.:D

Unlocked the mortar tonight, desperately looking for 2 mortar kills for the let it rain assignment.
 
Had a few decent introductory rounds on Matts server, cheers guys! Was fair surprised at how agreeable Hardcore was. Neil, yes I will be on TS tomorrow, although how good the quality will be ai don't know, as my mic is an integrated cheapo webcam/mic. Thinking of getting a headset, but I need to find one that'd sit nicely over my hearingaids, not just my ears.

Looking forward to spending some time in BF3 tomorrow evening in any case, was just going around tonight lonewolfing and capping points lol.
