So i just got a set of 8gb Crucial Tactical Tracers today on this week only bloody brilliant stuff, its running nicely at 2133 with 9-10-10-27 1.55v anyway as its on offer I was thinking of getting another to make 16gb in total, probably total overkill I know and chances are by the time its needed ill of changed everything anyway so can anyone think of any sane reason for me to get another 8gb :)

I do actually intend on getting into photoshop a bit as Im after a getting a decent camera next so maybe that would benefit, and until recently I did actually do a lot of video encoding at home for work but thats died off but may come back so again maybe that would benefit?

Probably just wasting another £50 in reality but it would look good with all the lights going :D
 
I use Photoshop CS5 has it has 64bit support, & I find 16gb of memory very useful, when working with large files, layers stacks, and editing.

Another advantage with lots of RAM is that it drastically reduces the need for using scratch disks in Photoshop.
