Drugs smell

If you speak to him first, and he ignores you and you go to the police, he'll know it was you and kill you.

Your only option is to strike first. Go round late one night, force you way in with a knife and cut him up a little. When he's writhing around on the floor bleeding from several puncture wounds to the neck, chest and groin ask him politely to stop smoking weed as it's making your flat stink.

Alternatively, buy him a vapouriser, virtually zero odour, and you'll have made a new friend.
 
tell him to buy an inline extractor and a carbon filter can before someone busts his grow.

i doubt the guys even aware of the stench
 
Lieing about someone dealing is pretty harsh. If he did get raided (those sitex doors will make your place look lovely) and had a bit laying around he could get done with intent to supply which, is not a good thing especially if he genuinely wasn't. Be sure before you make allegations.
 
GD I am dissapoint.

So our OP has a "neighboor" who does drugs and the smell happens to spill over his flat. So the OP is looking for a way to get rid of the smell for whenever the family is visiting..

Let's be fair if he has been unreasonable about abating noise caused by constant parties and the property management hasn't done anything about it either, he isn't going to install an air filter or reduce the amount of dope fumes exuding from his place, sounds like a right nob.

Ringing the police could also make your life more difficult, so what if he gets a fine, slap on the wrist, suspended jail term, he's your neighbour, he can make you miserable if he wants he will probably suspect its you lets face it (weed paranoia etc).

Are you genuinely stuck where you are? If not this might just be a sign you should move to a better place, because the stench I could tolerate, the noise however, would drive me INSANE. Look for a new place, and then ring the police on the day you move out, stating that you think he may be growing / dealing - he'll get a nasty shock at least when they bust in and possibly lose his tenancy if he is growing out of the flat, but at least your out of there and able to enjoy life a bit more :)
 
The Police are limited in what they can do considering he's using in a private property. If you tell the Police the likely result will be an intelligence report. If more neighbours report it and you suspect he's cultivating *nudge* they may get a warrant to search the address. Will this stop him smoking weed, unlikely! Hopefully it'll deter him from smoking it in the flat again.

My neighbour smokes weed and makes the corridor smell. Personally I think it smells quite nice. Also coffee shops have a similar smell, think of it as nice earthy coffee :)
 
Talk to him first if he refuses to listen make sure he knows you're going to and take it up with your landlord if no action is still taken then take it up with the authorities.
 
I would slip a note through his door telling him his Weed Stinks. If he is a Heavy weed smoker the Paranoia will do the rest. ;)
