Just wanted to throw a big thank you out to Cleeecooo and anyone else who posted in my newdie w/c questions thread a few days ago.

Parts arrived today and my first build went without a hitch. I'm now the owner of the tidiest case in town :) Can't complain about the temps either:

From ~30c idle/~70c max
To ~11c idle/~30c max

And that's a 1100T running at 4ghz, I really wasn't expecting that much of a difference but I'm delighted, oh and that Xigmatek Elysium is an absolute pleasure to work in....yep, I can almost get in there with the machine running, little cold tho :(

Anyway, just wanted to say how grateful I am for the help in this forum, and from 5UB who helped me get the order here so quickly. Now I'm off to find out how different my HIS 6950s are from AMD reference....need full blocks :D

Patio doors open?

Well I've got the window of my computer room open and it is below zero out at the moment I think. I did have the window closed last night and the rig had warmed up to 14c...either way I'm not complaining :D My temps are all from CoreTemp, not really sure how accurate it is though.

Here's a quick shot of the case....I wasn't aware that the light red fluid was actually pink, but as you can see I don't really care about colours/lights etc. I did tidy the SATA and case cables up a tiny bit more after this pic...absolutely spotless.

i'd be careful cause unless your room was 11C then it's a faulty sensor as due to the nature of water cooling it's impossible for the water temperature to be below ambient temperature of the room

That's what I thought too, but I reasoned that the speed of the air over the radiator might be cooling it a little...plus it is possible that the room is that cold, my feet are certainly freezing :s

Just tried the AMD monitor and that shows about 14c at the moment as well. I guess the hardware sensor could be faulty but I have no way of checking that :(

Looks good :D

Some clear tubing maybe?

Awww you had to say it, I wanted the clear tubing but unfortunately they were out of stock. 5UB recommended I went with another colour of the decent stuff instead of the clear budget.

When I to the gpus I will probably change the colour of the fluid and maybe the pipes too...we'll see.
