That is actually a great idea, as long as we are alowedto implement them into our build i think it's a good idea.

FT can you confirm that you are happy for me to include NPC builds to mine.

I will do the following.
. Repair paths/building done by creeper damage.
. Add food to soil patches

A rule needs to be made for not destroying AI villages because until then I don't see anything stopping people from destroying them apart from the odd person moaning.

I for one like the easy of access to resources from the villages.
 
Im not going to distroy it, im looking to repair it and encompass it into my build to preserve it, as hegemon states above.

The only thing i would do is fence around it, and put a sign up saying NPC village.

put some crops in the farm area and torches

But i agree with what willhub is saying, if we are going to preserve these there should be a rule, because the only reason i raised a point "yarthillian" saw the village was pretty dire half the buillds were missing from creeper damage, the paths were missing and due to having no torches it became a creeper fest.

Is it at all possible for my chests to be moved to 1.0 world? I've got them located in 3 locations close to each other, quite a lot of stuff, if I could show a mod where they are some time?
