I'm thinking of buying both these products, and create a custom push/pull fan setup on the H100 with 4 silent fans, and then hook up these 4-fans to a fan controller. I know this has been done numerous times over various forums, however I want to see if anyone on here has any experience with this configuration, and mainly;

How easily does the H100 fit into the top compartment of a HAF X?

I don't own either yet, but this cheapo case I'm using which I bought back in 2008 isn't upto the job. :P

As the case is mahoosive i imagine it will fit in there push pull no problemo. My 600t can house a h100 with 4 fans in push pull and that is smaller than the hafx. However take this with a pinch of salt as I do not own either... either.

Very easily.

But honestly, i'd get a phantek cooler or an OcUK/XSPC/EK custom watercooling kit. Much better value for money and can cool better!

Really? Custom H100's with uprated fans run pretty cool!

Are all those Watercooling systems internal?

I'm pretty out of date with new-age watercooling solutions!

With good new fans, it'll cost roughly £140 in total.

The following kits all fit in the HAF X, are quieter and cooler:

Another up side is you can quite easily add a GPU in there aswell!

The OcUK V12 kit is one of the best kits on the market. Al those loops are harder to set up and will require maintenance every 2 years at least, but I promise it's worth it for pure silence!

The phantek cooler is cheaper than the H100 and is pretty much on par with it in terms of noise and cooling:

Make sure you are using low profile RAM though!
