What exhaust do you have now daveski?

I kept my cat and went down the route of having the centre silencer of my Milltek removed. I love the sound, and it still passes emissions stuff.

I finally got around to ordering some tyres. Managed to get 4 AD08s in 195/50/15, hand delivered to me for £290. Bargain!

I spent more than that for two normal tyres (CS3s) on my VXR

Made a deal with Harpham for his decat. Dunno when it will be fitted though, probably in a few weeks.

I assume the grip levels is a fair difference between these and V12s? How much life will you get out of them?

16s are a waste of time. Get some 15s

As soon as the new ones are on, the 16s will be refurbed and sold on - they'll pay for the tyres, easily.

I wouldn't mind 15s, but I ain't a massive fan of F1s and that really only leaves me with 2118s but there pretty expensive.

Saying that £350~ for wheels second hand, £350 for tyres.

I could no doubt sell mine for £250. Still going to cost £400 to downgrade to 15s. Which of course will payfor itself given I keep the car for long enough.

Hmm, or I could get over the asthetics and get a set of F1s for £200~.

If you could really get over the aesthetics my F1s will be for sale soon. Cheap as they need a refurb and wont have tyres on.
