Ive just purchased the opera media case from OC, and ive installed my old q6600 and P5q deluxe motherboard.
I now need a second hand graphics card for around £50 to fill the pci express slot.
As its limited to room, what would be the best card for around that price?
Thanks and happy new year :-)

I also have the Opera, it fits full height and double bay width cards, its just limited in length due to the PSU placement. I'm going to presume you've got a reasonable PSU which wont have any power issues.

I believe the 7900gtx was approximately 9", so something like a 5770/50 should fit fine and should be obtainable around your budget, most of them had a HDMI connector as I remember.

It's been a little while since I've been in mine, but I seem remember it's got room for 1x 3.5, 1x 2.5" (SSD) and 2 x 5.25", so you could fit 2 or 3 normal HDDs, but you'd need some 5.25" drive bay adaptors.
I could also be wrong and it could be 2x 3.5" slots in which case yes, 2 standard HDDs would fit without adaptors (IIRC one is on the 'side' of the 5.25 bays, and the other is below them, with the removeable front panel).

Like I say it's been a while so I apologise that's not the best info, but it would definately fit them one way or another :)

thanks, just looking at the case on ocuk website and it does state
Device: 5.25" X 2 / 3.5'' X 2 so just wanted to check.

Also looking at pictures the PSU is at the front but fed with a cable from the back power socket input. I plan on changing the psu to a better quality one. Do you still use that cable though?

Yes, it's effectively just a kettle lead extension. You can fit fans around the PSU to increase airflow if you desire.

@Chapparel
The Silverstone does look nice, but I don't remember seeing it when I bought mine. Not to mention, it's twice the price of this case, going by a quick search, at over £80.

The OcUK case is by no means amazing, but it does the job at a cheap price.
