Mobile browser pinch to zoom - do you use it?

I was wondering if we could create a poll with the following options?

All the time
Frequently
Infrequently
Never

It occurred to me that when the first iPhone came out, there was a lot of talk about the pinch to zoom feature in Safari. It took a while, but eventually Android and other smartphones also gained this feature. But as an iPhone user myself, given that double tap zooming works so well and is more convenient (as it can be done one handed), I was wondering if many people out there actually used pinch to zoom in their mobile web browser of choice? It seems to be rather a redundant feature in the web browser when you can simply double tap to zoom into the content you want to look at.

What does everyone else think?

It would be interesting if you also mentioned what platform you were using too to see if there is a correlation between the different zooming methods.

I use it often, if it is a webpage then double tap to zoom is great but on images etc when I want to resize myself it is super handy.

Although what I do tihnk is useless is the hold two fingers on the screen and tilt to zoom on the sg2...
 
Very Frequently in Boat Browser on my Arc...

Especially for form filling and Logins (like the search and login on OcUK)
 
Infrequently, double-tap for basically everything and very rarely (images) pinch.

It's obvious really though, using one hand vs using two hands is a no-brainer for preference.
 
Personally, I would use it infrequently myself. My usage of it is very similar to FNGsam in that I'd use it to zoom in further on images to check out some detail or something like that. I'm an iOS user.

I use it a lot more on my iPad than i do my iPhone. Double tap is quicker and can be done with the hand you're holding the phone in.
 
I use it most of the time. I'll use tap to zoom if I only have one hand free if I was outside holding a drink that I had nowhere to put down etc or sometimes on these forums because it fits the text field to the screen.

Double tapping should fit the text to the screen as well? At least it does on the iPhone.
 
On my Xperia (Windows Mobile 6.1) I used double tap zooming all the time the implementation just worked perfectly (I think the resistive touchscreen gave it greater control)... having now moved to an android handset tho I find double tap zooming rarely gives me the desired level of zoom but pinch to zoom gives me that level of control tho its not as handy to use as double tap.
