Mobile browser pinch to zoom - do you use it?

Used it all the time on Gingerbread, but after switching to Mango I very rarely use it anymore. Double tap is just quicker.
 
use pinch to zoom all the time. My first real smartphone was the Iphone 3G, i had some windows CE phones and a dell axim before that terrible painful devices to use. I have to hand it to Apple they really made phones a elegant and intuitive experience. Use android and wp7 nowdays mostly because I was bored of ios and wanted a bigger screen.
 
You double tap, really. That doesn't size to anything relevant. Never use double tap. Always pinch. That way I can get the perfect size.
 
what ever happened to the tap and swipe thumb/finger up down for in and out that SE did ? i think it was when they where having swipe to zoom patent problems on the x10 ? was good for one handed use.
 
I can punch to zoom with one hand anyway so doesn't bother me, simple and quick. Boat browser supports text reflow on pinch to zoom now too so even better.
 
Sometimes useful to use, when a lot of links on the page and you don't want to accidently click on those. I use it more than double tapping (now that I have a capacitive screen).
 
Double tap on BB7 seems to be very good at giving me exactly the level of zoom I want. Still pinch to zoom on pictures, mind, and miss it on google maps (on BBOS)
 
Double tap for reading things which has auto text wrap, such as this, but but pinch for images and things which don't auto resize.
