Anonymous is (are?) a collective, while probably 99/100 people involved aren't much more than script kiddies there are some real pros as well (tend to be the ones that stay in the shadows more and let the kiddies take the rap). i.e. some of their backend hosting was paid for by companies that are believed to be fronts for Iranian intelligence.

EDIT: Also parts of Anonymous have been and probably still are infiltrated by western security services - its possible they've used some relatively innocuous recording to further their own advancement in the ranks so to speak.
