New Sony NGP/Vita Screen shots, videos, and news (embargo now lifted)

Does anybody know if you'll be able to download your gameface from ea on to the ps vita version of FIFA 12?

Not been mentioned as far as I am aware. However the following will probably be of interest to you :)

They have also said that they hope to have the ability to cloud save on the PS3 and pick up on the Vita in the NEXT iteration. There was not time to make it into this version.

The game has all the same single-player modes, 50+ licensed tournaments, every team, player and asset as on FIFA 12 on consoles.

“Offline is identical to the PS3, which is great because traditionally handheld games are somewhat lightweight,” Prior said. Features like the popular online Ultimate Team, however, are complex and at this point will not be available on the Vita version. Online will feature the standard head-to-head ranked games and friendly matches. “You can play any user, anywhere around the world,” Prior said.

Confused now.. Had an email from amazon but all it was was an updated delivery schedual no mention of the £15 for the Game/memory card bundle..

Cancelled my pre-order in the end. Its purchase was going to be nothing more than a case of shiney new toy syndrome. My history of actually using any of the hand held consoles i've bought isn't that great, i can't even remember where my PSP is :p So figured I may as well save myself some money as the Vita would be gathering dust within a week or two once the newness had worn off.

used to cheapish games on smart phones, not prepared to pay lots now.
just have to see what price sony will release games at to see if i'm still interested in the vita.

I know there are bundles out there, but has any one been into Game a store and ask about a bundle for the vita?

Ask what? Game have bundles that they have announced but they won't do anything above and beyond that I don't think. They are not in a good place financially to be able to compete with the Amazon offer for example.

Chickenhawk is referring to in store deals, as the deals seem to only be online ATM from both Game & Gamestation.

Both of us reserved in store.

Oh I see, I thought the deals were in store too.

Can I ask why you opted for the Game deal instead of the Amazon or Morrisons ones?

We both had credit with them, but tbh I am more than happy to support them ATM, as they need it.....

As with others here, went into Game and got handed one to play with almost as soon as i set foot in the store. As others have said it's a lot lighter then it looks.

Do you mean they were trying to get you to look at it without you asking? or you asked and they had one there to play on straight away?

Had a go on one of these in game, very snappy and inuative menu system, uncharted 3 looked sublime, tried wipeout also, although it was graphically good, it didnt captivate me as much as I thought it would - but then the ps3 version of the game wasnt something I was interested in (uncharted was a different story though).

Lovely looking machine, bit more chunkier in the hands but perfect size for me.
And the analogue sticks/dpad/buttons - spot on Sony.

My only gripe, I think its probably not worth around £220 at this stage for me. So I may hold out a few months and see where the pricing will go, I am sure we will see price drops similar to how the 3DS droped in price over the course of the first 6-12 moths.

(I'm sure come release day that logic will go out the window :p)

Same for me! Had a play with one, quite impressed, didnt convince me to fork out best park of £300 though (wifi model + mem card + uncharted), but also i am sure i'll change my mind release day and just go buy one, cant see many decent bundles though (play had an ok one).

Actually just had a look at the morrisons deal.. looks good! might go with that!
