***Final Fantasy XIII-2***

Well, lesson learned there, Tesco are useless. Sent me the 360 one instead of the PS3 version I ordered.

Last week, the LE version was £50 from them (PS3 version), but I'd pre-ordered a few months back when they'd listed it for £40.

Looked on their site today, and the Limited Edition PS3 one doesn't exist any more, and they've sent me the 360 one. Muppets.

Well if you have it id finish it but if you dont fancy doing it 13-2 does go over what happended in 13 via the datalog covers each chapter.

There is a bonus for a cleared save though so again id finish 13 first
 
I've almost finished XIII and like it, but this new one seems to be getting slated from every angle.

Are the reviewers generally being unfair or does it seem to be a big disappointment? :(
 
My copy from Game has arrived. The steelbook pre-order bonus is luuuurrrrvly :D

I'm rather surprised that the game is only 1 disc (360) however!!!
 
The Lightning lenticular postcard is a nice addition too.

Shame the layouts in the artbook aren't done well, but at least the postcards in the steelbook if you have that make up for them.

I think imo the reviewers expectations were that high no matter what they produced they wouldnt be happy.

Now from the little bit that im into it the battle system is same which i liked i do like the cinematic sequences and how you get into a battle imo is better but i dont think reviewers think the same.
 
All of them are saying the story is weaker than XIII's though which, lets face it, wasn't the strongest in the series in the first place.
 
The Beginner's Primer section is a nice addition to the main menu screen to help refresh people's memory or those only new to this game for a quick runthrough of the first one.

Had a message from my friend last night, and Tesco sent her the PS3 LE, and she ordered the 360 LE!

Wonder if the got the item codes mixed up! There's gonna be a lot of miffed people :o
 
I bought the guide and will be picking it up from my mates later today, Ill post some pics of the wep upgrade paths if it has them if any of you want them?

Heh, must be - I posted a similar problem above. I ordered the PS3 LE one, and they sent me the 360 LE one instead. The stupid thing though is that they don't even list on your order history which version it is you ordered (which might be handy as a double check at their end when they're picking stock).

Well that was odd, the post today brought my pre-order pack although i got the game yesterday, in total 1 order from GAME was sent in 3 different packages... :rolleyes:

So yeah maybe this credit thing they have going on isn't doing them any favours!
 
Hey guys

Anyone had problems installing XIII-2 on to the 360 hard drive?

Mine plays fine from the disc but for some reason will not install on to the hdd, got 18 gig of free space on the drive & just reinstalled another game to the hdd which worked perfectly.

Most odd?

Mine wouldn't install the first time, it just kind of hung.

Restarted the Xbox and it installed fine the 2nd time.
