what forms of id do i need, i only have a drivers licence as photo id?
i have letters in my name to my address and the usual bills and stuff, is that all i need or do i need 2 forms of photo id?

Drivers license or passport should suffice.

You should always have a passport. Even if you don't plan on going anywhere, it can prove a very useful document.

i did have one but it ran out a few years back, never bothered after that

Might be a good idea to check with the bank in question. Two forms of photo ID, a utility bill (not mobile) and a pay slip/tax form should cover all bases

Usually two forms of id, one for you (passport or drivers licence) and one for address verification (utility bill, council tax, generally not a phone bill)

Drivers licence can not be used for id anymore where I work so it's birth certificate / proof of address ect

I never understood how a birth certificate was a suitable form of personal ID, considering there is no photograph to link it to the person in front of the cashier.

any idea why they dont accept drivers licence anymore?
surely thats like not accepting a passport as id??

Thats a bit crazy. Everyone that drives a car usually carries around their drivers licence, if the police see it as an acceptable form of ID why cant companies?

As far as I am aware a Birth Certificate is only suitable for those under 18 (as it is likely they have less forms of ID available to them).
