This is terrible news for everyone connected to Nottingham Forest, spoke to Nigel in the summer a fair bit.

Thoughts with his Michael Helena and Lucas and family at this time.
 
Well the snow made an unappealing trip to stoke even worse than usual but we snuck away with a win. Think that has to be the most turgid 90 mins I've seen. Pullis whining about time added on is most amusing though.

They definitely need to bring back orange balls. The yellow one is completely pointless in weather like that camera couldn't find it for about 30 seconds 5 or 6 times..

If you don't see the massive amount of negativity in your posts, then there's really no point arguing this with you.

I also don't remember saying I haven't been negative about Arsenal.

I'm negative, because, Arsenal are negative, we've move from the most offensive, fast attacking, goal scoring side in the country to a 4-5-1 that looks crap against anyone good, and every transfer window we lose our best players and bring in less good ones....... impossible to see where the negativity comes from.

Again though, I didn't say I wasn't negative, and you didn't say I WAS being negative, your argument was along the lines of I said Arsenal sucked today...... they didn't, I didn't say this. I'm negative about quite a few of our players reaction to winning a game well, because they tend to get big headed and screw up even worse shortly after.

Did you see the goal? I was on the phone telling someone the scores when I stopped talking and couldn't quite believe what I was seeing. Only saw a couple replays, need to see it again properly but, did Howard not just run straight past it, got unlucky with the bounce as it changed direction a bit but, surely Howard had no need to run as far as he did anyway? Had he just moved over slower he'd have gathered it safely anyway?

Either way, was funny, and, well, will be on a lot of blooper type footie video's for years to come I'd think.

Maybe the ball spun away from him after it bounced it seemed to wrong foot him, the deflection might have put some spin on it. :confused:

Yeah, I was fairly sure it bounced in a not particularly nice way but. It seemed odd that Howard seemed to be moving essentially so fast/beyond the goal that the bounce caught him out. Looks like he could have moved towards it and gathered it earlier or not moved as far across and still had the post more than covered.

I think he's partially trying to get between the ball and the incoming Wigan player maybe. Its still funny, though I'm seeing a pattern..... happened to Gary Neville as well, they're cursed :p
