I have both of these cases, but im not sure which way to lean so I want some opinions.

Im aiming for a good balance of silence and OC ability, the spec is as follows.

Core i7 2700K
2 x MSI GTX 560Tti twin frozrs in SLI
3 hd's
2 ssd's
16gb ram
blu-ray optical

I have a choice of HSF for the cpu

A corsair h100 or a be-quiet dark rock pro advanced. (I should have mentioned I already own both)

Any advice would be appreciated

As far as a cooler, this is pretty much the best you can get without a full W/C loop I think:

CORRECT!!!

OP, if you can't return the H100 under DSR, then i guess you may aswell keep it, but i'd get the 800D if you plan on going full water.

The elysium is, IMO, the HAF, but better.

Using the 800d with watercooling, did not have any temperature issues with air cooling.
Had a overclocked i7 920 with the TRUE with a Sharkoon fan.
