Seriously, if you can't tell the difference that quick it's your problem, lightsaber colour is not how I distinguish friend or foe.

I've been full Deception build, and it's rubbish in PvP. There are some nice perks and massive damage spikes, but you also become the most squishiest class too.
A hybrid build using Darkness and Madness has meant I'm infinitely more useful to the team now. I can hold my own against pretty much anyone and not die in 3 hits like before, guarding teammates, and pulling enemies towards me. It's resulted in a much more fun experience in warzones again, and I'm still able to come top of damage, as well as most damage protected and always guaranteed 8 or more medals per match.
have 2 guys in stealth and as long as they not dumb hard to get a bombs planted.

I'm not sure if it my eyesight getting worse or if the nameplates are smaller than in other MMO's, for some reason I am finding it very difficult to see nameplates in Swtor when I haven't had the problem in all other MMO's I have played...
Plus it wasn't a serious point, I was just joking...
In SWG there was a colour palet you could select from to deicde your armour colour, you could have each piece of your armour a different colour if you so wanted.

You go on to explain having difficulty seeing nameplates (green or red, are you colour blind? then it's a good excuse, but you see saber colours fine) then go on to state it's a joke.

I never said I was colour blind, I struggle to see the nameplates and I have no idea why...
Okay "joking" was the wrong word to use there. I wasn't serious about limiting the saber colors to those seen in the movies..
I can see why people say MMO communities are terrible these days, most of the players spend more time trying to start arguments than playing the game..
Not start arguments, state facts, enemies show up as red the moment they enter your view range (a few big patches ago this was not the case).
It's only difficult if you make it so and resist people's responses, but you took it a little to hard and put up your defence mechanisms, what do I care, it's so obvious, I'm done, if you get worked up by something this simple then maybe you should look inside rather than blame and accuse the MMO community at large.
In fact, most people really hate being told what's what and then turn it from a dicussion into stupid back and forth messages like these.
Just like that whole trooper vs bh only a few pages ago, people absolutely do not like being wrong in any capacity or told otherwise. However, take note of this one bit, I understand not being able to see something isn't a matter of being correct or not, but I was stating that you don't have to look at their sabers.
I'm being sincere, If you honestly have issues seeing red above other players on any background then turn off the nameplate scaling, this however makes names STUPIDLY HUGE AND IF YOU MISS THIS YOU'RE BLIND.
Also turn on enemy health bars, you can't miss a long red bar moving around the place.
PS. I never said you were colour blind, you think I did. Bloops?

I haven't managed to bring myself to log in now for 2 weeks. Don't know what it is but this game just hasn't captivated me like I thought it would... Bitterly disappointed cause I've been looking forward to it since they announced it.
It's hard to explain why I've not enjoyed it as much as I thought I would. I suppose the game is just too linear for me.
I guess I'm just gonna have to wait and pray for someone somewhere to develop a decent sandbox style mmorpg. Could be a long time if ever...

It is rather linear, but the story line was very enjoyable. Especially near the end for my class.
I myself would like a big sandbox MMO, sadly they aren't always successful. Many flop sadly, and as such companies don't like to make them as they're a risk.

I don't think it has a particularly bright future but it certainly isn't rubbish.
It's definitely not great.

Greats an understatement. Definitely not even average.
Lotro was stripped of any difficulty, every class can waltz through the content and you don't even need to group up whilst levelling to hit the cap. It was once the best MMo/Community on the market but now its a shallow easymode game... hope that helps
