Recommend me a Slim Keyboard

What sort of money are you wanting to spend?

And is it for gaming? or general typing etc.

Thanks for the suggestions so far.

Keyboard is for webmaster/php/mysql work.

I use trackball for left hand and mouse for right to help reduce over use of one hand (suffer now and again from RSI) hence prefer narrow keyboards without the number pad so my arms are not to spread apart.

Budget is no problem, always prefer buying good stuff that lasts.

I'm using the roccat arvo, and it's a cracking little keyboard if you want a qwerty layout without all the bunf up the sides. Had a sidewinder with the detachable keyset before, but it died within 9 months...

Thanks but that is still wide, I need something without the extra number pad keys on the right hand side i.e. keyboard finishing at the return key.

Depending on how much your willing to spend - the logitech illuminated keyboard is quite thin, however it has a number pad.

(Its in this weekly deal :))

If I could buy something like that, but extending as far right as the return key it would be perfect!

I see a lot of the compact keyboards have a different layout than normal with smaller return keys. Hopefully some manufacturer out there must make a compact keyboard with a normal layout and normal size return shift keys e.t.c.

Apple wireless keyboard is the SEX.

Apparently it has keys that dont function in windows, delete key doesn't work.

If someone can correct me on this I'd be grateful as I'd love one myself.

Alternatively theres the Microsoft Arc keyboard...has a unique shape though which might put you off, clues in the name.

I found the ARC no good for me - I do a lot of text editing using 'vi' and the ESC key was too far away compared to the others. I had a couple of Logitech DiNovos and wore the lettering off the key tops for the most used keys within a year for both of them.

Current kit is an MS Wirless Mouse 4000 and a Bakker Elkhuizen KEYBSAT1 S-Board 840 Saturnus Keboard - it's wired, has two USB ports and is rather like a laptop keyboard without the laptop.

This looks awesome. Shame it's compact not full size. The additional numberpad is almost the same price as the keyboard!

Edging towards a K360 but having considred my options would love a K800 but it's just too darn expensive
