Would just like to say thankyou to everyone who helped, especially 5UB for getting my order here on saturday after a slight mix up.

Well it's been a long day but i'm finally leak testing.

All i can say is WOW i'm so impressed by how quiet the D5 vario and alphcool top are. It's leak testing now temp probe is reporting ambient temp. I've moved the thing round like a lunatic to get rid of all the air. The whole loop took 1 litre of water which i though was pretty good.

Pictures say a thousand words

Woah thats a tight fit, nice job tho :)

Re the gunk in the loop, did you flush the rad with hot water first?

Looks really good mate!

What are you doing with the fan headers?, are you combining them in junction, PCB, fan controller? pics of your solution would be lovely :)

13 hour leak test and everything is good, i've got a idle temp of 29/30 on the gpu and cpu

GPU is topping out at 34/35 using extreme burn mode of kombuster and CPU is topping out at at 41 under prime 95.

Now i need a SSD as the noisiest thing in my case is the HDD

In regards to the fans until i can get a a lamptron FC5V2 i've got 2 apache camos running or channel 1 and another 2 running of channel 2 of my scythe kaze master.

I cut the PWM wires joined the 12V and Ground together and left 1 tach wire from 1 of the 2 fans to report the speed.

Does anyone know if you get better temps from a push / pull config on the 120.4 as i can get another 4 fans in the top of the case or stick 2 of my 200mm mega flow fans above it.

Next on my agenda a new PSU where the fan don't spin unless it's above 50% load AX850 springs to mind, a SSD and some cable braiding.

And much later in the year probably a case that i want to marry to little devil pc-v8 :)

Any questions then feel free to ask.

LOL just tried a section on metro 2033 maxed out which on air cooling would give me a GPU temp of 76 and cpu temp of 51.

On water 37GPU/39 CPU and best of all the silence:cool:

Very nice! Why not ramp them up some more? In my experience they've been silent up to 1000

600RPM is near on silent they get noisier if i get closer to 900.

TBH there is no need

i just did a eunigine 2.5 run and stuck my gpu at 1.3V with a 1000 core and 1400 memory and my max temp was 38, on air cooling it would reach 80+ degreess then shut down because it was unstable.

Honestly the mostr annoying thing at the minute is the hard drive i never heard it before now but it's driving me mad lol :D

I know that feeling , everytime i use my other system all i can hear is the raptor wizzing and clinking away drives me nuts :D

SSD 4TW .. make sure you get atleast 120 gb or youll be wishing for more !

My secondary rig is like a bus when it's stationary. A gradual, loud vibration!!

SSDs are worth every penny.

256gb absolute minimum IMO, that includes some games :)

LOL i already have 248GB used with just games that i play.

No music or movies just GAMES :D

Forgot to say i think ocuk must leak test the pump and top combos cause mine was wet when it arrived

What in earth was going through your mind when you thought "I wonder what this sticky fluid is... Maybe I should taste it":p
