Hmm not sure then only other thing i can think of is are you doing it via the bundle page? If your i.e. searching for each item then adding it to basket and proceeding maybe its messing up.

Whatabout tax/customs?

There is a good chance you will get hit for customs duty and VAT. I have not used that site for a long time but I seem to recall that people who used to buy consoles from it got duty charged.

On consoles I would wholy expect to get hit by customs as they are large items. These are going to be sent via airmail like a letter though so they could well get past with nothing at all as it's all coming in massive sacks. If they get hit they get hit, There's no other way of getting them in this country so there's no option if people want them.

You can cancel any order on Amazon seconds after you place it. amazon do not take any money until they dispatch your stuff so they wouldn't take anything till the 20th at the earliest. I've ordered about 4 times now and cancelled 3 lol.

Just to confirm, you pre ordered a Vita with Amazon before they announced the Free memory card and a game for £15 deal correct?

I have one of the 16gb Pro Duo mini in an adapter and in my current PSP 3000. I guess I could use that. If I can get a legit 32gb I may get one if they aren't too expensive. As I reckon the many of the Vita games will be downloads.

Just got my preoder receipt out and I preodered it on 10th June 2011. Garn darn it I've been waiting freaking ages.

No you cant, Only Vita cards will work in the Vita.

NO other cards ill work.

ALL Vita games will be downloadable, most will be available at retail.

We aren't getting the 32gb memory cards over here by the look of it. I'd buy one off Ebay but seen stuff like that are 98% fake on Ebay I'm going to have to look for a trusted import retailer that won't rip me off.

How come?

Working with the American's at the moment, so can use their postal service. Works out pretty cheap, reckon I could even slightly profit out of it if I don't want it when it arrives.

Infact works out at £160 ordering from amazon US. Saving of £60. Not bad at all.

SCEE are not selling them that is correct. I've ordered some from Canada, the link is a few posts back. It's about £70 posted but there is the chance of customs on top of course.

You mean get a colleague to buy it and post it unmarked?

Cool. Not the best but the more the merrier!

Also the Vita will be getting a new FW on the 8th of Feb.

PlayStation Vita owners can look forward to a major update on February 8. The system's version 1.6 update will be available for download on that date and adds two major features.

Your Home screen will now have a Map app. Open this up, and you'll be able to see your positional information on a map. The map can be viewed with satellite imagery turned on and off. You can also search for walking and driving directions and view details about your current location.

The system's photo app will be updated with the ability to take videos. The app is currently limited to static photos.

As a smaller change, the Home button will now flash blue when you have the Vita hooked up to power.

Separate from the system's firmware, Sony will release a MAC OS version of its Content Management Assistant for PlayStation program. Since the Vita's launch, this has been available only for Windows. The program is required for transferring data between your Vita and computer.

This update will also reflect Sony's previously announced naming change from "PlayStation Network Account" to "Sony Entertainment Network Account." This is just a name change. There's no difference in the service features.

Hopefully we'll see a google maps app so that I can use it as a nice big sat nav!

And Hideo Kojima just tweeted this ;)

That should help shift units :p

One thing I've been thinking last few days is, are they really worth it if you don't travel much?, just you could spend the money on a TV and get a better overall experience

EA did a study and found that 50% of handheld gaming was done at home so I'd guess yeah. There have been countless times at home when the wife was watching something I've have loved to have the Vita already!
