Memory for older machine but future compatible?

I would like to get 8GB of ram.

In 4 months I intend to get the new i7 + new motherboard.

Am I able to choose memory now which will be future compatible?

The Kingston Hyper X Greys mentioned above are a solid choice along with XMS3 for an i7 - both capable of running at ~1.5V at full spec.

If you're on a budget the Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB would be worth looking at £31.

It will work fine with board boards and that particular kit is great value.
