This is my road.

Some people here need to get off their high horse and quoting laws when they have no idea what the OP's road is like.

i see cars parked on path and empty driveways

Google car came through during normal working hours while most 2 or 3 car families are out of work I suspect.
My street on Google is empty but if I go out now it's full with cars parked on 'pavements' so cars can get down between them.
We are lucky though because we have grass verges that the cars park on therefore not blocking any of the pavement.

Street near me, parking on pavements both sides, as there's pretty much no choice. There's about half a dozen streets like this nearby. It's all very well getting the hump about it, but some of these streets weren't built for cars - but they've gotta go somewhere.

Seriously inconvenience pedestrians - that make be actually laugh out loud

IMO the only reason people park on the pavement is to allow traffic to pass on the road safely.

Surely only disabled people could possibly have an issue with cars parked on the kerb?

I wish that one of the houses down the road from me would park half on the pavement ... they've seemed to have decided that the pavement is an extension of their drive so park one of their cars fully on it ... blocking it completely ...

And yes ... there's plenty of room for them to park on the road ...

Sorry but when house were built when nobody could afford a car and probably were not invented, why should people just expect to park outside their house now and block the pavements for people.

Its a nightmare around some streets near me, just people parking with enough room to walk passed let alone a pushchair or wheel chair.

Can't stand the ****s

Also it turns roads into one way streets due to the road being big enough for 2 is now just wide enough for one.

Causing criminal damage because of people parking on the path is just pathetic.

I nearly got hit by a car when pushing my 4 month son as I had to walk round a car that had all 4 wheels parked on the path, sorry if I don't value some poxy car as much as my son

I remember somebody on here who was a wheelchair user starting a thread about him getting past illegaly parked cars and he got crucified.
Anybody remember the thread?
