My D1 has inspired me to look to upgrade my turntable as it is the first time that the sound quality is limited by my current deck.

its been a year

oh and i am yet to get something new but am leaning towards a xonar xense when i can afford

Mine doesn't seem hot at all... Saying that my comparison is a GTX 480 xD Which has an idle of about 63.C

I must say I didn't notice an improvement in sound quality particularly, however I do find that now I can much more easily pick out 'poor' audio streams, so clearly the quality has increased..
