Hey guys,

So I have my beloved 800D, and it's served and is serving me very well, but I have to admit I'm in a mood for change possibly, and I was wondering what advantages the TJ07 has over the 800D.

The main appeal is the option to have a nice 480 at the bottom, and with some work a 360 at the top. I was just wondering how easy the case is to mod. I unfortunately don't have a workshop at hand, and am not the most experienced at using powertools, but I am careful, and I'd probably buy the case with the roof pre-modded.

I guess I'm wondering about stuff like Cable management and such, how easy is it to route stuff around the case. I've seen many TJ07 builds, including RJK's, and I just love the look of well done TJ07's, but it also looks like it includes a fair bit of work.

So any opinions/advice would be much appreciated. As much as I would LOVE to buy a TJ11, I would not be able to justify it to myself (or my mrs for that matter) in spending half a grand on a case.

the tj07 is an awesome case that you can have a 480mm and 240mm rad in the bottom, I'd personally not go for the 360mm rad in the top and install a window :p also, is it just the stuff in your sig that your cooling? as if it is then just using a 480mm rad would be fine and you could easily fit most of the watercooling components etc in the bottom :)

I personally wouldn't mod it as i was in the same situation as you. I decided a TJ11 would be better. Sound investment IMHO

The TJ07 is a little archaic compared to the 800D in terms of cable routing etc

Trust me on this, the TJ11 is the best thing you will buy!

believe me I would LOVE to splash out on a TJ11, but I just really can't bring myself to pay £500 for a case...

As for my 800D, the only modding I've done on it so far is a fill port at the top, and I plan to do the Radiator expansion at the bottom at some point.

Fair points though gents, I'll mull over it a bit more, and stare at TJ11 pics while keeping all ways of paying for one well out of arms reach :P
