Whitney Houston dead

I don't know why I bother to open these type of threads anymore.

They're just full of the usual insensitive ***** of the highest order.

RIP Whitney Houston.

Yes it's sad that she died aged only 48, but if you're going to stick those sorts of drugs into your body then, quite frankly, it's going to happen sooner rather than later. The history of music is littered with warnings, yet it seems they go unheeded for some reason.

Its better to die than continue with such a life, frankly and sadly.

Though she is forever immortalised within history and the music that is sung today, the good never fades.

Shame she was a fantastic singer in her time. Mum always used to play her songs in the car when I was a kid.

RIP

Some insensitive people up in here

Amy Winehouse was not a shame, it was pretty much expected

Whitney Houston is a horrific loss to the music scene, that song "I will always love you" was instantly recognisable and along with a few other 80s/90s songs pretty much became a staple.

Have you ever seen a Valentines/Love compilation CD without Whitney on it?
Just like have you ever seen a Christmas compliation CD without Slade on it?

Sad, so sad, once she got into drugs, etc, it was a slow downward spiral to destroying herself.
Yes, she had her faults, fantastic singer, but she made one hell of an impact on the music scene.

RIP: Whitney.
